No-Bake Pie Crust (Gluten-Free)
- 3 cups of shredded coconut (optional: toasted)
- 1 cup crispy sprouted almonds
- 2 tablespoons almond butter or creamed coconut (also called coconut mana or coconut butter)
- 3 tablespoons coconut oil
- ΒΌ teaspoon high mineral salt
- Optional: Spoonful approved sweetener of your choice. I like adding around 10 drops of liquid stevia.
- In a food processor, add the almonds and shredded coconut. Pulse until the nuts have been broken up into small pieces.
- Add the sweetener, salt, almond butter and coconut oil and continue processing until it comes together into a sort of dough consistency.
- Press this mixture into a pie pan, enough to cover the bottom and sides. It is now ready for you to add the pie filling.
