No-Bake Pie Crust (Gluten-Free)
 
Ingredients
  • 3 cups of shredded coconut (optional: toasted)
  • 1 cup crispy sprouted almonds
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter or creamed coconut (also called coconut mana or coconut butter)
  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil
  • ΒΌ teaspoon high mineral salt
  • Optional: Spoonful approved sweetener of your choice. I like adding around 10 drops of liquid stevia.
Instructions
  1. In a food processor, add the almonds and shredded coconut. Pulse until the nuts have been broken up into small pieces.
  2. Add the sweetener, salt, almond butter and coconut oil and continue processing until it comes together into a sort of dough consistency.
  3. Press this mixture into a pie pan, enough to cover the bottom and sides. It is now ready for you to add the pie filling.
